PESC MEMBERS identify, develop, openly share and promote collaborative data solutions that employ automated, reusable and sustainable technologies in order to improve institutional performance, to improve student service delivery, and improve overall digital and electronic connectivity between stakeholders.
In this spirit and in support of the mission, PESC provides free online access without charge to all PESC APPROVED STANDARDSand all technical information on this website for the education community & general public.
ANNUAL PESC MEMBERSHIP DUES, as the principal source of funding, support all open data exchange standards & technical specifications development, issuance and maintenance of open PESC APPROVED STANDARDS; all official PESC communications and outreach activities; and PESC events & industry meetings.

Some colleges and universities support PESC for a short time or when there is development they wish to support. Other organizations like AACRAO, ACT, College Board and Ellucian have been solid PESC Members consistently for 20 years.
Whether a short time or not, your support of PESC directly impacts your students, colleges and universities and enables others to migrate toward student mobility.
PESC MEMBERS believe that fostering open, transparent collaboration across educational communities to solve common, industry-shared problems brings much needed clarity and coherence to the education eco-system.
PESC TECHNOLOGY is open, community-sourced and driven by PESC serving as an incubator to pilot and launch data standards using an open, transparent and collaborative process; and serving as a data standards-development and data standards-setting body governing resource mapping and maintenance of education eco-system schemas, taxonomies and shared code sets in various technologies (EDI, XML, PDF, JSON, etc.).
As a PESC MEMBER, your organization drives this development providing an equal voice and stake in the strategic direction and development of education technology.
From Ontario to Indiana, to Credentials Solutions, National Student Clearinghouse and Parchment (among many others), to Stanford University and all 114 of the California Community Colleges (which alone serves 2.1 million students), to all of financial aid - ALL USERS of PESC APPROVED STANDARDS - PESC is fulfilling its vision of a digital domain.
