PESC established International Ambassadors in 2018 after partnership with the Groningen Declaration Network (GDN). International PESC Ambassadors were established for leaders from PESC Members who also attend the Annual GDN Meetings held around the world. With 15 International PESC Ambassadors at the last Annual GDN Meeting in Paris, PESC was very well represented & our mission resonated clearly.

WHY PESC?
PESC Members work together
through PESC in 'co-opetition'
(cooperation among competitors)
to identify current initiatives
and emerging best practices
impacting technology & standards
and
to develop innovative, collaborative
solutions that employ automated,
reusable and sustainable
systems & technologies.
PESC Members propose and participate
in PESC Groups and Initiatives &
convene at Spring & Fall Data Summits.
PESC MEMBERS believe that fostering open, transparent collaboration across educational communities to solve common industry-shared problems brings much needed clarity and coherence to the education eco-system.
PESC TECHNOLOGY is open, community-sourced & driven by PESC serving as an incubator to pilot and launch data standards using an open, transparent, collaborative process (based on a voluntary consensus model); and serving as an open, data standards-development and open, data standards-setting body governing resource mapping and maintenance of education eco-system schemas, taxonomies and shared code sets in various technologies (e.g. EDI, XML, PDF, JSON, etc.).
As a PESC MEMBER, your organization helps drive this development providing an equal voice and stake in the strategic direction and development of education technology.
From Ontario to Indiana, to Credentials Solutions, National Student Clearinghouse and Parchment (among many others), to Stanford University and all 114 of the California Community Colleges (which alone serves 2.1 million students), to all of financial aid - ALL USERS of PESC APPROVED STANDARDS- PESC is fulfilling its vision of a digital domain.
